calvin and I are joining Mommy and Me swimming lessons on Monday. He's getting pretty close to being able to swim on his own.

My son Calvin learned to love hiking before he could even walk. My husband and I put him in the Baby Bjorn or the backpack and take off. Getting out of the apartment to explore the trails, desert and mountains where we live has been one of our most joyful and entertaining parenting experiences.
